Session 0 Summary: Eberron Campaign
Overview This Session 0 served as an introductory and setup meeting for the new Eberron campaign. The group discussed scheduling, confirming a potential one-shot date for January16th, while deciding to proceed with the main Eberron campaign using the updated D&D 2024 core rule book and new tools.
Campaign Setting & Lore
- Timeline: The campaign begins approximately two years after The Last War in the world of Eberron.
- Starting Location: Players will begin in a small town called Salvation, just outside The Mournland the region formerly known as Cyre.
- Character Concept: The party will start as adventurers, survivors of The Last War. The DM emphasized incorporating character backstories directly into the main storyline, specifically focusing on experiences during the war and faction affiliations (e.g., houses, dragon marks).
- Lore Presentation: Watched a Youtube video regarding Eberron history (creation, ages, dragons, conflicts and the Last War) to help player choices in historical context.
New Player Characters
The DM asked the party what they intended to play in this new campaign.
- Brooke is intending to play a promiscuous Elf Bard named Lyra "Lyric" Lindare of House Ghallanda where her and her mother helped serve as hosts to various taverns and inns.
- Steve is intending on playing an awkward unsure human fighter named Jasper Jumblewick where he helped support in the war as a weaponsmith.
- Anton is intending on playing a Warforged Artificer named D3-C1M, a proto-type that was horribly treaded wrongly by House Cannith who believes he has been destroyed in conflict.

- Julie is intending on playing a rock gnome Artificer named Pipswick Fizzlebloom, who worked with House Cannith as a sage and workshop assistant mending gear.
